What is CROSSWIM?
CROSSWIM is the swimming pool based training program where each training session, besides warm up and cool down, consists of two main coaching blocks – swimming and strength & conditioning. While swimming coaching is obviously in water, strength and conditioning part may be performed both in water and on the pool deck. Each part already has its own health benefits, but the combination of both gives you the ultimate workout which targets every single muscle in a body. Every CROSSWIM training session teaches you something to make the training more efficient and time effective. Such as how to read training plan’s abbreviations, swim and strength combos, warm up routine etc. But in SCHOOL HOLIDAYS program most tasks and writings will be simplified, so not to worry if you don’t understand everything. A coach will explain the task and make sure you understand it before you do it.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS CROSSWIM PROGRAM (Term 2, 2021)
ENROLMENT PROCESS:
1) Make sure you meet the entry requirements (below). If in doubts, discuss it with a coach.
2) Fill out the enrolment form (press “enrol” button or link)
3) Pay the invoice which will be sent to your contact email address
* IMPORTANT. You are enrolled once the invoice is paid. Places may be limited, so please do not wait.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (must meet):
1) Comfortably complete 100 metres sequence using 4 main strokes in any order (25m Fly, 25m Back, 25m Breast, 25m Free)
* If you don’t swim butterfly yet, you still can join if your freestyle is strong.
2) No age limitations. Children, adults and families are all welcome.
WHAT TO BRING:
1) Water bottle
2) Flippers (long rubber the best, but for the holidays program any will be fine. You can purchase it at JimKiddsports or Rebel sport)

PRICE:
$45 for 4 training sessions 90 min each. * Belmont Oasis entry fee apply
The price is at 50% discount. You can attend all 4 or less training sessions depending on your life circumstances. All good.
TRAINING DAYS and TIMES:
7 and 14 July. Wednesday. 4:00 – 5:30 pm. 50m lanes. Swim / Strength technique and aerobic conditioning (e.g. slower)
10 and 17 July. Saturday. 3:00 – 4:30 pm. 25m lanes. Strength / Power and anaerobic conditioning (e.g. faster)
